The Legal and Investment Department serves as a ‘one-stop shop’ for setting up your business in Malaysia. It can assist you in the formation of your company, as well as the establishment of Representative, Regional and Branch Offices. In addition, it can help acquire the relevant residence and work permits for you or your staff, while handling the entire application process.

The Legal and Investment Department can advise you on the relevant local licenses you will require and assist you during the application process. The contract consultancy service includes advice on contract negotiation, reviewing of contracts and drafting of contracts according to Malaysian and/or German law in cooperation with local law firms.

Furthermore, the Legal and Investment Department is able to assist you in obtaining credit reports for Malaysian companies. The Department is also happy to act as an intermediary in cases of disputes between local and German companies.
